Control app for Sony REON POCKET devices
REON POCKET is a free lifestyle app for mobile devices by Sony Group Corporation. It's the official control tool for the company's smart wearable device of the same name. It allows users to adjust fan speeds and switch between hot and cold profiles depending on the environment they are in.
Keep aerated
There are three modes available in the REON POCKET app. The first two are cool and warm, which as their names suggest, will have your device blow hot or cold air. There are four levels of intensity available, or you can opt to turn on the Wave features which will cycle through all of them.
The third mode is called Smart, and here the app will automatically adjust between cold and hot depending on ambient temperatures. You can also set target temp ranges for it to operate in. Unfortunately, it suffers from connection issues in the form of frequent disconnections.
Inconsistent reliability
Like the official PlayStation App, the REON POCKET app makes it easy to control the company's unique and handy personal ventilation device. It's easy to use and allows for quick access to settings and features. Hopefully, the connectivity issues get addressed promptly. Nevertheless, this is a must-have for owners of the said wearable.
